The conference is organized by the World bank with the assistance of Government of Russian Federation. The conference aims to gather those interested in development of legal and judicial systems, to discuss realization of reforms, successes and failures, other problems which are to be solved in the future. Special sessions will be devoted to legal and judicial reforms in Central Europe and countries of the former USSR, and also to the questions of restoration of legal and judicial systems in the countries which have survived confrontations.
