Wednesday Giancarlo Galan, the head of Veneto region (Italy), met the governor Vladimir Yakovlev. During the meeting he announced that Veneto region will present Venice gondola to St.Petersburg The only problem is to train gondolier. According to Giancarlo Galan, Petersburg looks very much like Venice, that is why he decided to make such present. Also Veneto region will participate in Petersburg 300 anniversary celebration.
