Russian Ministry of Transport decided to include the Marine Passenger Terminal  reconstruction into the list of actions aimed at preparation for the city's tercentenary celebration. European Reconstruction and Development Bank was ready to invest 5-10 mln euros into the Terminal updating, but the bankers needed the federal authorities support of the project. Now there are no barriers for the investments. This ill allow JSC "Marine Passenger Terminal" not only to open a new hotel, clean the facade, lay asphalt on the square in front of the complex, but also - which is very important - to extend the  berthage and deepen the Petrovsky  fairway. The terminal will be able to receive first-rate  passenger ships in two years time.
