St. Petersburg. Administration allotted 5 mln rubles from the city's budget for financing an open competition for the contract on youth subjects coverage in the city's TV and radio programmes and press in 2001. The competition announced by the St. Petersburg administration's Youth Policy Committee will be conducted as follows: at the first stage the best conceptions of covering such directions as civil consciousness and patriotism, youth employment, sports, leisure and health, drug addiction preventive measures, crimes and homelessness will be defined. The chosen conceptions will be used to form final technical conditions and contest application assessment criterions, and also to define demands of technical and professional skills and qualifications made of the participants. At the second stage the best performing organizations are determined that took part in the first stage and applied for the second. The state contract will be signed with the winner.
