A school bus will soon appear in St. Petersburg. This

Golubeva, the head of the St. Petersburg

administration.s Committee of Education. According to

her words, .an education programme for 2001-2010,

including a .school bus. concept, is being worked

out.. The head of the Committee noted that there had

been no such need until new city districts started

expanding . Kolomyagi, Metallostroy. This is why

Governor suggested to introduce school buses that will

drive children to the nearest schools and back

instead of building new schools in each new district.

The first bus will probably be introduced next school

year already, in the Pikalevo village area.
