Gennady Seleznev Arrives Thursday to St. Petersburg

The State Duma chairman Gennady Seleznev arrives to St. Petersburg on Thursday.

As Alexander Emelyanov, counselor to the State Duma chairman, told RIA "Novosti", Gennady Seleznev will visit "Russian Farmer" fair on August 31. He will then assist at a ceremonial students initiation held by the Management and Economics Institute. The ceremony is traditionally conducted in the Duma Hall of the Tavrichesky Palace. Being the Institute's honoured professor, Gennady Seleznev will congratulate students on behalf of the State Duma.

There is a number of working visits in the programme of the State Duma chairman's visit, including a meeting with Vladimir Goriugin, the head of the St. Petersburg Metro.
