A boat built in St. Petersburg.

boat A free-fall life-boat intended for 18 people, designed and built at the Pella shipyard, has undergone its trials.

Such boats have never been built in Russia before, though they are considered to be the most safe mean for salvaging of crews from sinking ships. Until this moment Russian shipowners had to buy such boats in Germany, Croat and Poland.
