The Chilean Ambassador in RF and Ukraine Pavlo Kabrera met the St. Petersburg Governor V.A. Yakovlev in Smolny November, 16.
This is the first official visit of the Chilean Ambassador to St. Petersburg. His program also comprises a presentation of the journal “Chile Today”. V.A. Yakovlev proposed to open a Chilean consulate on the Neva River banks. Kabrera told this project is to be discussed in the Chilean Foreign Office in December. Also he informed that a commercial attache of the Chilean Embassy in Russia will soon come to St. Petersburg with an official visit to meet with Russian businessmen with a view to develop economic relations between our countries.
Pablo Kabrera arrived in Russia on August 15, 2000. Credentials were given to Russia on August 17, 2000, to the Ukraine – on June 16, 2001.
Graduated the Catholic Chilean University, a lawyer, a professor of the National Academy of Political and Strategic Research (ANEPE), a member of the Chilean International Law Society, a member of the Christian-Democratic Party. Speaks English, French and Italian languages.
