The names of the most recognized figures in the North-West Region of Russia have been announced.

This title, which was initiated by the Interregional Social Movement “Priority”, is given every year, since 1996, as a result of annual rating investigations of public administration, social, religious figures, cultural and scientific workers. Laureates are awarded with symbols of an honoured title – with a gilt statuette of Georgy the Winner, with a silver sign and a diploma. Information about laureates is placed in an annual exclusive “Book of Respect and Honour in the North-West Region of Russia”.

A presenter of the Television and Radio Company Petersburg, Irina Smolina, won in the nomination “The Presenter of the Year” and Mikhail Boyarsky – in “The Actor of the Year”.
