Calendar of Events', issued for the third time, took place on December 26. In 2002 it is planned to conduct about 50 different international festivals; three festivals is to be held in January 2002. The III international festival 'Square of Arts (Masterpieces of the XX Century)' will last until January 5, 2002. On January 2-10, the VI international Christmas film festival will take place in St. Petersburg cinemas. On January 6-26, it is planned to hold the XI international festival 'Christmas musical meetings in Northern Palmira'. The calendar provides major events for the year 2003, too.
