Sergey Mironov presented a malachite casket with “a natural sample of Ural emeralds in a rock” taken from the Malyshevsk mine in the Urals to the St. Petersburg Institute of Mines. The institute's museum is 228 years old. It keeps 230 thousand exhibits. Speaking at the meeting of the institute's Academic Council, Sergey Mironov told he truly loves his institute and its museum, collection of which he considers to be the best in Russia.
