France's President Jeacques Chirac announced this on Tuesday in Paris, at a common press-conference with Russia's President Vladimir Putin. Besides, according to Jeacques Chirac, in 2003 a Russian-French expedition along the so-called Chukotski “whale way” will be organized. He also mentioned that France would develop cooperation with the St. Petersburg Polar Academy.
