The St. Petersburg State Library for the Blind – one of the largest Russian libraries – celebrates its seventy-fifth anniversary.
The library’s funds keep more than 400 thousand books, and there are quite a lot of rarity editions there. The library has eight branches and more than 50 library centres in the city and the oblast; its number of readers exceeds 10 thousands.
