Printed from: http://petersburgcity.com/news/city/2002/01/25/tatjana/ City news, 25.01.2002 17:11 Today is St. Tatjana's DayTraditionally St. Tatjana's Day – the day of students' patroness – is celebrated on January 25.The students' festival began from liturgy in the Kazan Cathedral, then a festive service and presenting of St. Tatjana's signs to students and their tutors were held. In the Russian Christian Institute a shop of humanitarian and religious literature was opened. The central events of the festival is the final meeting of the Interschool Creativity Competition dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of the Christianity, an awarding ceremony, performance of youth choruses, bards and student theatres. In the evening the awarded with Tatjana's signs and winners of the competitions will go to the art cafe “The Stray Dog”, where a literary and musical night will be held for them.
