On Thursday, on the eve of the 61-anniversary of the Leningrad blockade beginning (September, 8, 1941) in the Piskarvskoe cemetery 4 new memorial gravestones will be placed: in memory of warriors from Krasnodarsky krai and Tverskaja area, and also in memory of the dairymen and Leningrad power engineering specialists.
The memory singns will be placed in the Alley of Memory of city protectors. Here have already been placed gravestones in memory of warriors from Moscow, Tulskaja, Brjanskaja areas, Dagestan, Georgia and other regions of the former USSR, and also in memory of the various sectors of the national economy, who died, protected Leningrad.
