On the eve of St. Petersburg’s 300th anniversary, the rail services between two cities will be increased, as Yuri Dyakonov, the Minister of Transportation of the Russian Federation, has communicated.
According to him, by the May holidays, additional seven passenger trains and one speed train R-200, may already be placed in circulation between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Dyakonov noted that the final decision on the dates of the introduction of new trains and the actual number thereof depends on the passenger demand. According to Dyakonov, several stated have already put requests to the Ministry of Transportation of Russian Federation, for the organized transportation of their delegations.
