According to a telegram sent by the Center of Air Navigation Information of the Civil Aviation of the Russian Federation to all Russian and international airports, “Since many VIP airplanes will arrive in St. Petersburg, and since the landing place is limited”, “it is necessary to ensure flight safety and free movement of airplanes, so the Pulkovo Airport will be opened only for flights organized for official delegations”.
At that time, a great number of famous visitors will come to the city: only the number of arriving presidents of other countries (without considering the accompanying persons) will be about 50.
