Reception for the leaders of foreign countries will be held in Tsarskoe Selo on May 31

Preparations for the reception Reception for the leaders of foreign countries, invited for the Jubilee Decade, will be held in Ekaterininsky Palace of Tsarskoe Selo on May 31. The reception will be similar to those held in imperial times, claimed Ivan Sautov, director of Tsarskoe Selo museum/ He reminded that the official opening of the Amber Room, one of the highlights of the jubilee program, will also take place on May 31.

Ivan Sautov did not reveal the details of the organization of the reception, he assured however that the event would be a memorable one. All the official guests will be presented with the book "The Amber Room", published in Kaliningrad. Representatives of Ruhrgas AG, the main sponsor of recreation works, have already received the first issues from Ivan Sautov and Mikhail Shvydkoi, Russian Minister of Culture.

Three remaining weeks are left for the final polishing of the Room. The residents and guests of the city will be able to see the miracle after June 2, when it will be opened for the tourists.
