According to local tour operators the center could become a place for the working out and realization of various marketing and advertising projects united by the aim to attract attention to St. Petersburg and to increase the demand for the tourist and accompanying services.
The main purposes of the center must become: working out of promotion strategy and advertising of St. Petersburg abroad, straitening of the city’s image as a large tourist center in Baltic Region, searching of new markets, solution of seasonal problems and problems of information about invest possibilities in the tourist infrastructure of St. Petersburg, using international informational exchange system.
