This action is to be started with a meeting and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Seraphimov memorial cemetery. Later the armoured troop-carriers borne colony will go on to the Palace Square where will be arranged meetings and welcoming of veterans. Then the colony will pass along Sadovaya street and Marsovo Pole, and soon all participants of the procession will de delivered to Kasimovo airport.

At the airdrome will be arranged skydiving, air-drive fire and motobyke show.

We should remind of that in 2 August, 1930 in the course of Moscow military district’s exercises in Voronezh was pioneered the use of air landed troops. Since that time, the day of the Sky Army’s foundation is celebrated annually in Russia. The history of native paratroopers is closely connected with the Northwest region and St. Petersburg.
