Valentina Matvienko has garnered 63.12% of the votes with 99.82% of St. Petersburg's polling stations reporting, and is set to become Saint Petersburg's next governor. The city election committee told Rosbalt that 28.24% of the city's registered voters took part in the second-round election, which was held yesterday. 11.77% voted against all the candidates. Matvienko's opponent, Anna Markovna, received 24.2% of the total votes. Only one polling station, located in the Fruzensky region of the city, has yet to report in.
