A new traffic surveillance video system has been put into operation on Ligovsky Prospect.

The innovation costs $5 million rubles. With the new technology one can observe the current traffic situation on Ligovsky Prospect between Obvodny Canal and Vosstanya Square.

The information also goes to the Teleautomatic Traffic Control Center of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region Traffic Police Department situated on 66 Salova Street. The Center not only observes the current road traffic situation but also operates it.
