Space engaged in car safety On February 12 the first project in St. Petersburg on satellite detection of stolen cars will be launched.

The satellite guidance system Cesar Satellite that is to be launched belongs to the Moscow-based closed joint-stock company ASCM.

In Russia today Cesar Satellite guides more than 5 thousand cars worth $260 million altogether. The hardware of Cesar Satellite plus installation costs from $1.4 to $3 thousand. In 2004 ASCM expects to sell up to 40 car alarms in the North-West District.
