From March 29 to April 4 2004 the ninth fashion week "Defile on Neva" will occupy the mansion on Potchtamskaya 9 (Popov Central museum of communication) and show that the city fashion industry is not only alive but also constantly developing. "Defile on Neva" project that has been held in Saint-Petersburg for 5 years by now has already become the tradition and the main show of the designer achievements. Every year in spring and autumn the renowned masters and ambitious young designers from Russia and neighbouring countries present their collections.
The conditions for the participants remain the same: professionalism and a new season collection of 30 clothes items. The debutants are supposed to demonstrate over 15 clothes items.
The spring show focuses on 2004/2005 trends of autumn-winter season. Most prominent city designers - Lilia Kiselenko, Irina Tantsurina, Larisa Pogoretskaya, Tanya Kotegova, Elena Badmaeva, Vladimir Bukhinnik and others will present their collections at the show.
All those who work for the fashion industry, the clients of the fashion houses and design-studios, critics and journalists are the target audience of the event.
