The Palace Embankment has to be closed from 12 o‘clock. Public transport, however, will be made an exception; the transport will be moving along Nevsky Prospect to the Palace Bridge until 3 p.m. without having any stops at the Palace Square. The performance is expected to attract 50 thousand people and about 5 thousand cars, as the organizers of the show presume. The State Hermitage might appear to suffer from the concert most of all. The Hermitage is going to shut its entrance. “Now we are talking with the organizers of the show to reduce noise and to fix up entrance problems, and we will do our best to let the Hermitage visitors avoid any difficulties”, Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the Hermitage said.
