The Eighth Petersburg International Economic Forum

Petersburg Economic Forum According to the decree of the President of the Russian Federation and to the decisions of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Eighth Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held in Tavricheskiy Palace in Saint Petersburg from 14th to 18th June 20.

The Forum is annually held under patronage of the President of the Russian Federation. Heads of states and governments, heads of parliaments, leaders of international organizations, representatives of economic and political elite of different states of the world regularly take active part in it.It is righteously considered to be the main economic summit of Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The motto of the Forum is “Efficient Economy - Worthy Life”. It is supposed to pay special attention to development of economic relations of the European Union with Russia and other CIS countries, implementation of economic and social reforms, development of modern information technologies, attraction of investments, accession of new countries to the World Trade Organization and other topical issues. In the framework of the Forum there will be held the Forum of Entrepreneurs of the CIS countries.

The working languages of the Forum are Russian and English.
