Robert Plant in St.Petersburg

Robert Plant in St.Petersburg Ex-vocalist of «Led Zeppelin» Robert Plant gave the concert on the 13th of April in Ice Palace (Ledovy Dvorets) in St. Petersburg. This is the only concert in Russia and one of few in Europe (after St. Petersburg in his program there is Finland, Sweden, Denmark and after that he will disappear in America).

Great number of Plant’s fans were dreaming about this concert for 3 years. His first concert in St. Petersburg, in Ice Palace in 2002 Robert Plant finished promising to come back again. And he kept his promise.

The great show started at about 9 p.m. For admirers of «Led Zeppelin» period he sang lots of the old LZ hits, among them: Gallows pole, Ramble On, Baby I'm gonna leave you, Whole Lotta Love. Russian fans were also happy to be the first to listen his new material.

In April 2005 Robert Plant and his group «Strange Sensation» are planning to issue new album «Mighty Rearranger». CD was recorded in Wales by «Sanctuary» company. Clive Deamer (drummer), John Baggott, (keyboards), Justin Adams (guitar) were working under this album as well. The release of CD is appointed on the 25th of April.
