Ever-first Russian Tolerance Programme is being drafted in Saint Petersburg, our correspondent reports.
According to vice governor Valeriy Tikhonov the working document which is to reflect the fundamental ways of solving the problem of xenophobia manifestations and tolerance formation in Petersburg will be ready by February 25.
To avoid international tension in the city it is crucial to take specific decisions. It is essential to concentrate efforts of the Petersburg government the national public in order to settle various nationalities integration tasks.
Tolerance Progarmme is the part of the events aimed at harmonization of inter-ethnic relations in Saint Petersburg. The scientists of the Russian Ethnographic Museum and Petersburg State University will be involved in its developing.
