Saint Petersburg governor Valentina Matviynko will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan late September this year. The sources in the Government told APA that the visit will be paid within Russia Year in Azerbaijan.

Matviynko will be accompanied by a large delegation composed of officials, businessmen, and culture and art representatives.

The delegation will meet with a number of Azerbaijani officials and businessmen in Baku.

Socioeconomic, scientific-technical, educational and cultural agreements are expected to be signed between the sides.
