St. Petersburg to Host Largest Ever Paper Exhibition & Conference
10.31.2006 13:25

conference St. Petersburg, Russia will host what has become the largest tradeshow in the paper related industries within Russia and the CIS. PAP FOR Russia 2006, produced by the Washington, DC based company, E.J. Krause & Associates, Inc. (EJK), will take place November 21-24, 2006, at the LenExpo Fairgrounds in St. Petersburg. Now in its 9th presentation, the show has grown over the years to now include nearly 300 exhibiting companies from around the globe and will draw an anticipated 15,000 attendees.

“We are extremely excited to produce this event which is poised to be the largest and longest running paper show ever held in Russia and the CIS,” says John Gallagher, senior vice president fro EJK. “It is the premiere event for Russian and International companies to come together to develop meaningful cooperative ventures.”

The paper-related industries in Russia have been growing for years with the most rapid growth in the last few years. It is therefore no surprise to see PAP FOR Russia continue to flourish as well. “We’re seeing the growth here [Russia] just as we’re seeing it in China,” says Gallagher, referring to China Paper Shanghai 2006, another EJK event, which took place this past September in Shanghai, China. “With this magnitude of growth potential, any company who supplies paper-related or forestry products or services, must consider exhibiting at this event.”

In addition to the State-of-the-Art Conference and Individual Company Seminars, this year’s event will feature a high-level mill manager round table discussion. Here, executives from various Russian mills will gather to discuss key issues in maintaining efficiently run mills.

Founded in 1984, E.J. Krause & Associates, Inc. (EJK) is one of the largest privately owned exhibition management companies in the United States. EJK is recognized worldwide as a major organizer of exhibitions and conferences. Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside Washington DC, EJK has 11 offices across four continents. EJK offices include: Mexico City, Beijing, Hong Kong, Düsseldorf, Paris, Tokyo, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Seoul, Madrid and Washington DC. As a worldwide tradeshow and conference organizer, EJK produces more than 60 events in 16 different industries such as manufacturing, paper and forestry, environmental, telecommunications, IT, security, food and beverage, sports, construction, petroleum and power transmission.
