Two large St. Petersburg hotels will go through a wide-scale reconstruction that has been estimated at $US40 million. The reconstruction works, initiated by hotel operator Rezidor Hotel Group, started in October 2007.

By May 2008 renovation of 720 out of 1200 hotel rooms of Park Inn Pribaltiyskaya will be finished. Renovation of the other 480 rooms will be finished by May 2009. Also, in May 2008 it is planned to open reconstructed conference-halls, new restaurants, halls, bars, etc in Park Inn Pulkovskaya hotel.
