The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which brought together politicians and business leaders from June 6-8, produced $14.6 billion in deals, the economics minister said on Monday.
Elvira Nabiullina said 17 large contracts were signed at the forum, which was attended by over 10,000 people.
In 2007, deals worth $13.5 billion were signed at the forum.
St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko said that a major deal concluded at the forum involved a project to build Russia's first toll highway, the Western High Speed Diameter, in St. Petersburg, with state and private investment totaling around $10 billion.
The forum also saw the signing of $3.5 billion worth of contracts with developers to build an industrial park and residential blocks in St. Petersburg.
