Ceremonial opening of Park Inn Nevsky has taken place in St. Petersburg on the October, 14, 2010. The hotel on Nevsky Avenue (in Russian Nevsky Prospekt), the main street of the Russian northern capital has become a third one of Park Inn by Radisson, opened in St. Petersburg by The Rezidor Hotel Group.
Key count of the new hotel is 270 rooms. Although it is situated in the centre of city, Park Inn Nevsky fits well into St. Petersburg atmosphere because its architecture and design and big variety of services, suitable for business clients and common tourists as well, says Geir Sikko, top manager of the hotel.
The unique location, in the heart of St. Petersburg is to provide a success to this ambitious project. The hotel is situated in the closest vicinity from the main tourist attractions and historical sites of St. Petersburg like Peter and Pauls fortress (Petropavlovskaya Krepost), Mariinsky Theatre and many other museums, theatres, shops and restaurants. Moreover, it is situated next to Moskovsky Railway station, just in 50 metres (maybe, it is the shortest possible distance) that is appropriate for tourists arriving by Sapsan and ordinary trains. Pulkovo airport is situated in 17 kilometres from the hotel and is esay-to-get from there.
Among other features of hotel are well-equipped and comfortable rooms, including Business Friendly rooms and elegant Junior suites, rooms for disabled, two modern conference rooms, ample underground parking, high-speed Wireless Internet access in the rooms, individual climate control, fitness-centre, restaurant and bar.
Hotel stuff is multilingual, what is rather important in Russia: English-speaking stuff is unfortunately still not obligatory in many Russian restaurants and even hotels, especially in province.
