Arsenal forward and member of Russia’s squad Andrey Arshavin plans to prepare for Armenia vs. Russia match in Saint Petersburg.
“On Wednesday my family and I will fly to St. Petersburg. But not from London, from another European capital…As for this important match, I hope that Zenit will allow me to prepare for the game against Armenia at their St. Petersburg’s training ground,” Arshavin said in an interview following match with Fulham posted on his personal website.
Arshavin said he had already spoken with the Zenit’s CEO. If the answer is positive, he will start training with Zenit on Thursday, he added.
Armenia vs. Russia EURO 2012 qualifying match will take place in Saint Petersburg on June 4.
