By beating A.C. Milan 1:0 in Stadio San Siro on Tuesday evening, Zenit took third place in its Champions League group, thus earning the right to take part in the spring stage of the 2012/13 Europa League.
Zenit will play in the second-most important club tournament in Europe starting from the round of 32, together with 24 clubs that passed through the Europa League group stage, and seven other teams which took 3rd place in their Champions League groups.
Zenit`s first match in the Europa League round of 32 will take place on February 14th, 2013, and the return leg will be on February 21st. The Europa League draw will take place on December 20th in Nyon.
The Europa League final will be played on May 15th in Amsterdam Arena.
