69th anniversary of end of Siege of Leningrad

Sunday marks the 69th anniversary of the end of the Siege of Leningrad during the Second World War.
The Soviet Army lifted the siege after a two-week offensive on January 27, 1944.
A spate of commemoration events will be held in St.Petersburg later in the day.
