St. Pete announces Sochi Olympics countdown

A ceremony marking the countdown till the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games has been held in Russia’s St. Petersburg.
It is exactly one year until the Winter Olympics kick off in Sochi on February 7, 2014.
The countdown was announced Thursday in the administrative centers of the host country’s four federal districts, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Pyatigorsk and in Sochi, the host city of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games
