St. Petersburg will host the next meeting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental economic commission in fall 2013, the press office of Armenian government reported following the meeting between Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan and Russian transport minister Maxim Sokolov. During the meeting, Sargsyan highly commended the intensive joint work. “After our last meeting the great work has been conducted, and we can see the results. We have discussed different issues, and our aim is to diversify the economic relations, open new cooperation spheres, and we can note the Armenian-Russian relations are dynamically developing,” Sargsyan said. Russia’s transport minister, on his side, said such discussions are good to have in order to sum up what has been done. “He thanked the head of the Armenian government and Armenian counterparts for understanding and efficient work,” the source reported. The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to expansion of bilateral relations.
A protocol was signed at the end of the discussions
