First place among top-500 the Russian schools of 2015 were won by Presidential physical and the mathematical lyceum of St. Petersburg No. 239. On the second and third places - Republican lyceum for exceptional children (Saransk) and school No. 57 (Moscow). The rating presented by the Moscow Center of continuous mathematical education is published on Monday.
"On top-500 the best schools, schools of 81 regions of Russia it means that sound school education in the territory of the Russian Federation becomes more available" for the first time entered, - the Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets emphasized.
She also added that in Moscow 32% of pupils are trained at the schools which entered a top.
"The rating of this year is based on the results of examinations in the 9th classes, and also performances by pupils of schools at the Olympic Games. Results of Unified State Examination this year aren't considered to expand the contingent of school students, which progress is analysed", - the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov in turn added.
