The station of the Petersburg subway "Vyborg" was opened after long capital repairs. The opening was visited by the vice governor Igor Alben.
Overhaul was conducted within 11 months. During this time workers mounted the water taking away designs of the inclined course, replaced balustrades, instead of a facing trial in lobbies put the Karelian granite, walls laid out a marble.
Earlier, representatives of SUE "Petersburg Metro" declared that now the station won't need capital repairs within 50 years. The vice governor Alben already on an entrance to the subway paid attention to the low - quality asphalt. At the same time he noted that during the works the city managed to save 40 million rubles.
The predicted passenger traffic through the station will be made by 35 35 thousand people.
The Vyborgskaya metro station is open in 1975 as a part of a site "Lenin Square" – "Forest". According to the subway, monthly "Vyborg" about 900 thousand passengers use. The passenger traffic expected after overhaul in day - 35 thousand people.
