This statue, the central figure in the building's Chariot of Glory sculptural group, suffered most during the fire on New Year's night this year. A plasticine model of the statue (scale 1:3) is at the present time in sculptor Viktor Shuvalov's studio (on photo). V. Shuvalov is beginning to create a natural-size copy of the statue, needed in the restoration process.
