The band is presented by the French Institute in St. Petersburg. Strasbourg Percussion is the only professional band in the world composed of percussion instruments only. Six musicians play 400 instruments, including drums, gongs, cymbals, bells, collected from all continents in the course of the band's several round-the-Earth journeys during many years of its concert activity.
