This festival of documentaries and short-length play and animation films opened with the presentation of a new documentary by one of today's most famous directors: "Super 8 Story by Emir Kusturica". 80 films from 30 countries of the world participating in the festival may be seen over the period of seven days in Cinema House and in "Aurora", "Rodina", "Svet", "Leningrad" and "Mirage" movie theaters. Thematic shows and retrospectives of Dziga Vertov's and Aleksandr Sokurov's films are in the festival's program.
