The third international conference "Phenomenon of Petersburg" closed in the Russian Pushkin Museum in St. Petersburg on August 23. Famous Russian authors, literary critics, historians Andrey Bitov, Felix Luriye, Gleb Lebedev, Gustav Boguslavsky, Yury Bespiatykh were among its participants. 10 countries sent their representatives to the forum. About 50 reports on St. Petersburg history and culture are scheduled to be read during the conference that will last for 4 days.
Sergey Nekrasov, director of the Russian Pushkin Museum, said that "Derzhavin an Russian Literature Museum" would open by the St. Petersburg tercentenary on 118, Fontanka embankment in the house where "Russian poetry patriarch" G. Derzhavin had lived.
