Festival of old music which started September 27, will be finished October 19 in St. Petersburg. Patriarch of Russian authentic music Alexey Liubimov will present his hammerclavier program “Fantasies and pictures” October 15. He will play Mozart, Heidn, Beethoven.

Famous Italian Mara Galassi will give a solo concert for baroque harp in Sheremetev Palace October 16. Works of I.S. Bach and his son Philipp Emanuil for traverse flute and clavecin can be heard in Small philharmonic hall October 18.

Closing of the festival will be marked by the concert of “the most fashionable” troupe in European music Il Giardino. Apart from famous Italian compositions by Vivaldi and Corelli, they will play music of the XVII century composers Dario Castello and Giovanni Buonamente.
