“From impressionists to Picasso”.
10.19.2001 17:21

The Hermitage directorate presented a multimedia album “From impressionists to Picasso” at the meeting with journalists October 18. According to Mikhail Piotrovsky, “this CD ROM is directed mainly at children”. But it is also interesting for a wide range of Russian and foreign users. This multimedia album includes more than 200 copies of XIX-XX century French art, including Sezanne, Van Gogh, Gogin, Matisse, Picasso and other famous masters of that time.

Thematic slide shows illustrate the main sections of the disk (works, artists, schools, collectors). A user can compose his virtual collection himself, using the “My album” function.
