The exposition is prepared for the International Day of Watercolorist, which is celebrated on November 23.

In Russia and St. Petersburg painting in water-colours has reached an exceptional flourishing for the last decades of the XIX century and the first two decades of the XX century. The present exposition displays water-colours, paintings, graphics, batiks. In the network of exhibition some conferences are planned to be held (“From the History of St. Petersburg Water-Colour”) and a masterclass (“Sketch from a Model in a Mexican Dress”).
