A historical exhibition “Catherine II” displaying the Russian Empress' course of life has opened in Berlin.

The exposition, which will be held in Berlin for the whole month, displays a lot of interesting pictures and sculptures, which particularly tell about the youth of the Russian Empress. Other sections show different stages of her accession to the Russian throne and reign. The exhibition will last till January 7, 2002.
