Boris Groiss (Germany) – a philosopher, cultural worker and theorist of modern art – will give the lecture “The Current Situation in Art” in the Institute Pro Arte on January 26.

B. Groiss is the author of a number of works on philosophic interpretation of Russian Culture, researcher of the Moscow conceptual school phenomenon on its early stage. In 1981 emigrated to Germany. Since 1994 is a professor of the Centre of Art and Mesial Technologies in Karlsrue (Germany). One of the most respected specialists in modern art.
