The central event of the day was an annual traditional meeting in the yard of the house on Moyka Embankment, 12, where the poet lived during the last years of his life, from where he went to the duel and where he died. Here, traditionally, gathered Petersburgers-Pushkin admirers, scientists, actors, musicians, writers. Foreign guests, Russian Government, Administration of St. Petersburg also took part in the event.
